'High Tide Point Nepean'

Limited Edition - of 25, signed, numbered & titled.

I was invited to take photographs of Point Nepean as part of a campaign to protect this Boonwurrung Women's birthing place from potential development. One photograph led to another and some eight months later with the support of the local Community "Point Nepean" the book was published. Point Nepean remains protected from development and a culturally sacred and pristine place to this day.

Local Elder Aunty Bea Edwards told me how sealers would sail into the Bay and steal the Women. One brave Boonwurrung man swam out to try and rescue two women who were taken, he didn't survive his attempt and drowned at sea.
